Meet Candace Sasser, our club Secretary. Candace works as Manager for a Nationwide Insurance office in Stanley, NC. She also raises and shows Shelties.
In her spare time, Candace enjoys practicing agility and obedience with her dogs, grooming, studying canine health & nutrition and reading. Some of her favorite books include the Harry Potter series, the Twilight series, Eragon, the Lord of the Rings, and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Candace joined our club in 2009 and became secretary in 2010. She also manages the website for GCSSC. In addition to her Shelties, Candace also owns a "fluffy" Corgi named Cody.

(Mojo)
Mojo is a 7 year old tricolor Sheltie bred by Dury Voe Shelties. Candace purchased Mojo from Belaire Shelties in July '09 and she just loves him to pieces! Mojo loves to come to work with Candace where he gets to say hello to all the insurance customers who come in. Mojo has his Rally Novice title and he also competes in conformation.

Misty Mt's Analyze the Future (Alice)
Alice is Candace's show hopeful pictured at 3 months old. She is a spunky, fearless girl who just loves everybody! So far she's looking very promising, and loves to show. At her very first puppy match, Alice won best puppy in show.

Triple H Mid Knight Kodiak Bear CGC (Cody)
Cody is a long-haired ("fluffy") Corgi from Debbie Cox of Triple H Corgis. He is a happy, bouncy boy who acts just like a Sheltie (gee, I wonder why?) and LOVES agility. After some fine-tuning on his weave pole training, he should be ready to compete. His other pastime, much to Candace's dismay, is dunking his head in the water bowl and rolling in the dirt! Cody is a registered Therapy dog and currently in training for Flyball and doing very well.
